Dr. Justin Wilson is an esteemed member and the Board Chair of ViennART Academy, providing the organization with a wealth of expertise and diverse background. With a Ph.D. and Master's degrees in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Integrated Business and Engineering honors program from Lehigh University, Justin possesses a unique blend of technical and business acumen.

 

Throughout his career, Justin has demonstrated a passion for cutting-edge technologies, specializing in data analytics, machine learning, and cloud computing. As a Multimodal Research Scientist, he is working on multimodal search, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and generative AI. He has successfully overseen the development of sophisticated data pipelines and conducted extensive big data analytics using various programming languages and tools. Dr. Wilson is also teaching Computer Programming for Engineers at George Mason University (GMU) in the Computer Science Department. 

 

Dr. Wilson's exceptional academic and professional achievements extend to the intersection of art and technology, evident through his contributions in audio-visual research for renowned laboratories. His dedication to the field is further showcased through authoring multiple research papers and projects related to audio-visual processing and object tracking. With proficiency in various programming languages, ML/AI frameworks, and cloud technologies, Justin possesses a versatile skill set that complements his strong leadership abilities.

 

His involvement in graduate courses in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics demonstrates his commitment to continuous learning and innovation. As the Board Chair, Dr. Justin Wilson brings a strategic vision and a deep understanding of technology's role in shaping the future of the arts. His remarkable expertise and passion for exploring novel possibilities make him an invaluable asset in driving the school's growth, fostering innovation, and enhancing artistic endeavors.

Vice Chair | Julie Yulri Lee

Julie Yulri Lee is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, making her a valuable board member for ViennART Academy.

 

With a background in public affairs and training management, Juliana brings a wealth of experience in overseeing various projects from concept to completion. As a former GTM Training Manager at LG Electronics USA, she demonstrated her ability to improve productivity and implement effective training programs, fostering a culture of continuous development.

 

Ms. Lee's expertise extends to media relations, having worked as a Public Affairs Advisor for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations. Her exceptional communication skills and strategic planning were pivotal in securing media exposure and enhancing relations with prominent media contacts.

 

Ms. Lee is a highly accomplished professional with 20 years of expertise as a director and manager at LG Electronics, coupled with an additional year of valuable experience as a Board of Education member in Norwood, NJ. Throughout her career, Ms. Lee has demonstrated exceptional leadership acumen and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.

 

Her extensive background in the electronics industry, coupled with her strategic insights and dedication to educational advancement, has enabled him to deliver tangible results and make a significant impact.

 

Ms. Lee’s unwavering commitment to innovation and team development has consistently elevated organizational performance, positioning her as a respected and sought-after leader in both the corporate and educational realms.

As a distinguished board member of ViennART Academy, Josef Zutelgte is renowned for his exceptional exploration of communication and human behavior, translating his observations into conceptually rich images and structures. His profound work delves into themes such as silence, power, connectivity, and the sense of touch, often initiated by real-life events, encompassing the personal, political, and social dimensions. Notably, Josef's recent project, "The Elephant in the Room," exhibited in Düsseldorf, Germany, critically examines hubris, lies, and their repercussions when exposed. Another notable creation, "Grand Central Net," a large net sculpture, reflects his keen observations of daily commuters' passage and pathways.
 
Josef Zutelgte's artistic excellence has garnered recognition and grants, including the Art Development Grant NYC, Triangle Foundation NYC, and support from the National Foundation of the Arts, Miami, and Sculpture Space NYC. His impact extends to public projects, such as "Rote Telge" in Germany and his advisory role for "The Comfort Women Memorial Sculpture" in Fort Lee, New Jersey. His works have been exhibited across the United States and Europe, in esteemed venues like the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC, Jack Tilton Gallery in NYC, Roman Zenner Gallery and Konrad Moenter Gallery in Germany, as well as at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Hunter College in NYC, and the University of Hawaii.
 
Originally from Germany, Josef Zutelgte earned his master's degree from the Westfaelische Wilhelms University Münster/Germany and The City College of New York. He honed his skills at the Kunstakademie Muenster/Düsseldorf under the guidance of Norbert Taeusz and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. As a visionary artist with a keen understanding of the human experience, Josef Zutelgte's contributions as a board member enrich the artistic vision and growth of ViennART Academy.
